About
My name is Will Riddle. My wife Jaime and I live in Cincinnati with our 4 children. We moved here several months ago to plant a church.
This blog was born out of my extensive reflections on past church experiences and now reflections on how we want to build our new church. I recently completed my M.Div from Gordon-Conwell.
My passion is to see a new reformation in the church. We face compromises with money, seeker friendly gospels, and aberrant theology. Even while we grow around the world, the red hot fire of God is hard to come by. I firmly believe that a return to Pentecostal roots and a deep hunger for God will mean a return to Pentecostal power.

Hi Will,
I came across your website by a random search…anyway, if I may, I would like to suggest you simplify your approach. It is probably where you are headed anyway, but what I mean by this is to begin again, and simply focus on your relationship with the Lord. Nothing else. Just spend time fellowshipping with Him. Not for answers to questions, not for visions and power, just because you love Him. If you have mentioned this already in your posts, I apologize, for I haven’t time to read many of them. (And feel free to visit my blog). Although I sometimes go to church, I have abandoned that approach. It is just me and the Holy Spirit these days. But the process of getting to this place has taken almost 2 decades. And to say I am grateful that the Lord led me down this path would be a monumental understatement. Feel free to reply. I would love to share together.

Doug, Thanks for your comment. I appreciate your perspective. For me, the need of lost people for God, and for God’s people for more of God, are the overriding issues. While most standard church expressions tend to bore me as a spectator, what I am most interested in is building a body where there are less spectators and more people touching people.
The more complex posts on this blog are opportunities for me to work through how this actually takes place. They are ways to develop the revelation that God gives to us in that relational time you mention. I have no interest in theory or knowledge for its own sake, but only in as much as it is slave to reaching real people and helping them grow. A dead theory is for me just that, dead. For me God is the root and foundation of that process, not an antagonist to it. I value and partner with those who arrive at the same place from a different angle, but this is the angle that God has brought me to as a result of my 15 year journey.

Hi,
I have to say, i also came across your site by default. I was just checking out thoughts on the aposltolic movement and am glad i did. My name is sam, from Kenya, thats in Africa hahahaha.
I love God and the ‘things’ of God if you may. I consider myself a student of God’s working in my lef and the lives of many in christendom. Anyway enough about me. Thank again for your site, such insight and balance i see in your posts. Hope to continue gleaning from them. As we continue to grow and seek Him and his will back here in Kenya.
Thanks again
